I have been in the Oil and Gas industry for over 20 years, I started on the Drilling Rigs and was given an opportunity with Baker Hughes to become a Service Engineer for the various product lines under the Baker Oil Tools sector. When Weatherford started a Completions Product Line I was then given the opportunity help build the product line in Australia with great success, I worked with a team of good people taking new technology from the designers, bench testing this technology and finally taking it out into the field and proving the equipment. This work led me more into the design and manufacture of Down Hole Tools and I was given the opportunity by FarleyRiggs to take this line of work further having a greater input into designing, manufacturing and field proving Drill Stem Testing tools. The current climate in the Oil and Gas industry has also given FarleyRiggs and myself the opportunity to move into Well Design with many smaller Oil companies contacting us and asking for more than just help with a testing and data analysis program to be incorporated into their Well Design. Due to my experience and contacts in the Industry windows of opportunity are constantly opening and I hope they shall continue to for many years to come.
