I am currently a Director and Business Finance Adviser with Finance NZ where I can facilitate a tailored business finance solution on your behalf for any business size, any type of business asset, located anywhere in New Zealand.Through Finance New Zealand I have close relationships with over 30 funding partners, including New Zealand banks, specialist asset finance, working capital and property funders. As I get to know your business and because I have detailed knowledge of our funding partners’ finance criteria, I am always advocating on your behalf, placing your finance requests with a lender that is most likely to provide a positive solution rather than you having to spend your valuable time explaining your position to many different lenders.So, while I take care of your business finance, you can spend more time in your business to nudge closer towards your goals.I am a Chartered Accountant who has been involved in Financial Solutions for over 29 years. I have been a Practicing CA, Company Accountant, International Trade Specialist, Commercial and Corporate Lender in Southland, the BOP, Central North Island and Waikato.My vast experience across a number of industries and clients has provided me a wealth of knowledge to provide financial solutions across a wide spectrum.My previous roles in banking have been as a Commercial Banker with ASB in BOP and Corporate Partner, International Trade Specialist and a Business Manager with BNZ in Invercargill and across Central North Island. Prior to joining the bank I was a company accountant at HW Richardson Group looking after the financial aspects of the Transport and Petroleum Divisions of the company. I was a member of the management team.My other passion is rugby. I was lucky enough to play first class rugby for Southland and North Otago from 1997 to 2003. After injuries I took up refereeing and I have been a member of the National Referee Panel since 2006 with 84 first class games. I am currently a current Super Rugby and International TMO. I am also the President of a local junior rugby club and chairperson of the regions junior rugby committee, ensuring community rugby is growing in our local area.
