Envirobead is an Irish owned company that was set up in 2007 to manufacture polystyrene bead to satisfy the increasing demand for quality insulation for cavity walls throughout the country. At the time most of the products being used were being imported from the North of Ireland and the USA.Envirobead was unique in that the company was formed by installers for installers so the people behind the project had vast knowledge and experience of how the system should be installed. From humble beginnings in a small warehouse in Mallow with just two employees the company quickly expanded acquiring the current site to build a purpose built factory suited to its fast growing, nationwide customer base.There are now in excess of 20 staff with hundreds more employed throughout the Envirobead network of installers. Envirobead's two significant Environmental Aspects are; Waste and Energy Consumption. Envirobead is continually striving to reduce these significant environmental aspects, where possible.
