As the most senior R&D manager for the Philips Vancouver office, I was responsible for leading the technical integration roadmap between the Blue Willow system and legacy Philips products. I collaborated with business and R&D executives to define organizational goals, allocate budgets and resources and align on business priorities. During my tenure with Philips, I led multiple software teams, working on multiple products, across North America, Eastern Europe and India.

Joined at idea stage, as employee #2. Created a cloud-based senior living resident safety platform that integrated with bluetooth based hardware to provided real-time monitoring and analytics to senior living operators and staff.I was responsible for leading engineering efforts across multiple disciplines, including: cloud architecture, embedded development, BLE, data science/algorithms and web/mobile development.I was also responsible for implementing agile development processes and engineering best practices, as well as shaping team culture and overseeing the hiring and onboarding of new developers.

Developed iOS and Android mobile self checkout applications and cloud backend for use by retail customers.

Developed a Quantum Cellular Automata circuit layout algorithm in Python for implementation on a Quantum Computer, using tools provided by D-Wave Systems
