12 bed sub acute, 30 bed high care aged care.Working regionally presents different challenges. Often the on call doctor over the weekend or on night shift was in a town half an hour away so this helped develop my clinical judgement with support from the more senior staff.

High care aged care. Time management was of utmost importance in this job as majority of hygiene care was performed in the morning.This job consolidated my skills in assisting older people with their ADLs, particularly hygiene and mobility.

This job did not last long due to overestimation regarding the initial staffing needs when the restaurant opened. i thrived during the busy periods and worked double shifts every weekend for the first month. This job helped develop my work ethic and drive to do well at whatever is thrown at me.

This job entailed cleaning blood out of a drip tray, scrubbing the cool room floors and cleaning equipment such as meat saws and mincing machinery. Despite only being 1 day a week, this job helped prepare me for dealing with bodily fluids in nursing.
