• Canvass the population for prospective applicants that meet prerequisites for enlistment into the United States Marine Corps.• Screen each applicant to determine eligibility relative to physical defects, moral character, criminal involvement, age, drug abuse, satisfactory prior service, citizenship, education, and dependency per MCO PII00.72, Military Procurement Manual, Volume 2, Enlisted Procurement. • Develop enlistees mentally, physically and emotionally for the rigors of Marine Corps Recruit Training• Prepare and submit qualitative and quantitative reports to Marine Corps Recruiting Station Headquarters.

• Supervise all welding and fabrication operation in accordance with Marine Corps Orders, Directives, and Battalion standard operating procedures.• Oversee the accountability of personnel safety; enforce the wear and use of protective equipment while conducting hazardous operations.• Train personnel in accordance with OSHA standards and Military Occupational Specialty Roadmap.• Submit daily, weekly and monthly maintenance Equipment Repair Reports to Company Maintenance Officer.• Ensure all welding and fabrication equipment is secured and locked out after daily shutdown.

• Submit accountability roster for Heavy Equipment Platoon to Engineer Company office daily.• Maintain Personnel Training, Counseling, and Mentoring Records in accordance with Marine Corps Orders.• Maintain an accurate schedule of all upcoming training events for the Platoon.• Track and document all medical, dental, and personal appointments for the Platoon.• Provide monthly counseling and mentor sessions for all subordinate Marines.
