Performing in a Senior Developer capacity among 4 teams that comprise the delivery and product development for C.H. Robinson's Global Forwarding department. My role includes working closely with IT architects, the business, and our development teams to help ensure alignment between them, as well as to ensure high quality and timely delivery of business value in an agile environment.

Responsibilities have included enterprise architecture review and design in a micro-services environment, implementation/configuration of an on-prem PaaS layer for internal core services (Apprenda), cross-team lead and mentor for software development (i.e. code reviews, development, construction and delivery of informal training where valuable, etc.), facilitate global technical leadership panel comprised of senior representatives from each of our roughly 15 development teams, on-demand POC work related to upcoming business priorities, co-leading an effort to usher in an "open-source" culture within the company, and some R&D throughout the year.Technologies/frameworks used frequently are .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, TypeScript/JavaScript, AngularJS (1.x and 2), SQL Server, and to some degree MongoDB (C# integration) and Node.JS.I have had extensive involvement in the review and implementation of web authentication/authorization frameworks, protocols, and products. This includes custom implementations of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect providers, alongside experience with solutions like Ping Identity, Stormpath, and IdentityServer.

Responsibilities expanded beyond my previous role as a Senior Engineer, with a particular goal of broadening my awareness and understanding of the business end of daily operations. Along with that, I began to widen my scope to cross-departmental initiatives, and became much more involved as a technical expert for our Engineering department when a representative was needed in meetings and subsequent dialogue.Instead of being focused on one team in our Engineering department, my role was now expanded to include interaction with all teams in our department, including mentoring, troubleshooting, and code reviews.

Responsibilities largely centered around developing with, and leading a team of 4-6 web engineers who were responsible for the front and backend development of 30-50 websites over this time period. Team members were split between Minnesota and Katowice, Poland. The team performed it's development using mostly Microsoft stack technologies including C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript and other applicable frameworks as needed. We performed integrations with social networking API's such as Facebook and Twitter. Additionally we worked on e-commerce-related applications for the Data Recovery side of our business.

Worked as a web engineer on a team of 5 who was responsible for 30-50 websites (mostly backend development), including a handful of web applications that were e-commerce related (both internal and external).

Responsibilities included predominantly front and back-end web development using the latest Microsoft stack at the time.

Did most of the desktop setup and related IT/Networking configuration to run a small (30 seat) training classroom for the customers of our software products.
