I am a Quantity Surveying Graduate who is currently looking for an opportunity to expose myself in different ways. I feel that I have the perfect qualification for the job as I have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying which is provided by Birmingham City University in association with ICBT Colombo, having studied this after completing Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying (City & Guilds qualification) and a Technician Diploma in Construction. I successfully passed my Ordinary Level examination at S. Thomas’ Preparatory School and my Advanced Level examination at S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia.I am currently working as an Assistant Manager in Operations at Experiential Journeys (Pvt) Ltd., Colombo 08. I am also the lead for the Australian Market which involves inbound and outbound tour programs. I am experienced in content writing, designing websites and handling social media platforms. In addition to this I am part of the Leadership Training/ Team Building Programs conducted by Beyond Boundaries, a sister company of Experiential Journeys.I have worked as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and got promoted to Quantity Surveyor at Furnicraft Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd., Wattala. At Furnicraft I have prepared quotations; prepared contractor/ sub contractor bills; prepared project flow charts and work plans. Also I have been involved in Sales & Marketing of products in addition to my job role here.I have experience in Project Coordination as I have worked as a Project Coordinator at JN Interiors (Pvt) Ltd., Colombo 10. I have led a project for Interior construction at CEB Tangalle. I gained experience in site supervision, handling clients and contractors in my phase here.My passion for Hospitality & Tourism started when I worked as a Tour Executive at Luxurious Sri Lanka, Ekala. I have also been a Senior Tour Executive and a Team Leader in the 4 years I have been here. Everything related to Inbound Tourism and a fair bit of Outbound Tourism that I learnt and applied here was a starting point to my journey in the Hospitality trade. In addition to my job role I have also been involved in accounting as I have handled cash flows and maintained Quickbooks.I have experience in Administration as well as I have worked as an Administrator at Happy Homes (Pvt) Ltd., Colombo 04.I feel that I have the logical mind and problem-solving skills.My goal is to become a successfull professional and serve the community with my best effort.
