I am the Product Owner for PwC’s new global online inspections application on the RSA Archer eGRC platform. As Product Owner, I am responsible for defining all business requirements to reflect the end-to-end inspections process and directing and coaching work of the Business Analyst, Quality Assurance analyst and Project Manager to have the requirements reflected in Product Backlog Items (PBI) and prioritised for each sprint (two weeks each).I oversee all Quality Assurance activities. This includes reviewing test cases, defining testing scenarios, performing functional testing and reviewing all defect fixes. In addition, I run the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) programme for the business. I am also responsible for all implementation and post-implementation support activities. This includes: delivering in-person training to super users, developing online training for all other users, developing knowledge based materials and triaging all support requests. In addition, I am responsible for coordinating the activities of our Steering Committee and Working Group.

As part of the Global Assurance Quality Review (GAQR) Group (PwC's global inspections group), I was responsible for the network’s Service Delivery Centre (SDC) Quality Review (QR) program including: planning, scoping and ongoing monitoring of QRs; developing the methodology, tools and training to support the SDC QR programme; building SDC subject matter review experts network to support the program and create a network for sharing; ongoing coaching and compliance support to review teams.In this role I co-lead the QRs of 25 PwC Member Firms and SDCs (in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa), with between two to seven team members to understand the Firm/SDC end-to-end businesses of processes supporting the Quality Management System (QMS), and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls in response to identified risks and the requirements of ISQC 1, PwC Network Standards, Network Risk Management Policies, SDC Assurance Standards, etc.Issues management within the QR teams and with Firm/SDC Leadership (Assurance Leaders, Risk & Quality Leaders, SDC Leaders, Oversight Body Chairs) through to resolution and reporting, while also identifying and sharing good practices and efficiency opportunities, was a key component of the role. I was also responsible for developing and delivering Network-level communications relating to inspections results and root causes.

As part of PwC’s Global Assurance Methodology Group, I worked as part of a team that set audit policies for the Network and supported engagement teams to implement and comply with external requirements, such as the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).I wrote PwC’s SDC Assurance Standards, under the direction of Global Assurance Leadership. The SDC Assurance Standards set out the policies and requirements to be followed by all PwC Firms, SDCs and engagement teams across the PwC network in order to comply with ISQC 1, auditing standards and PwC standards/ policies when using SDCs on their engagements, and developing the Network’s response to regulators on the use of SDCsI was involved for over eight years with the development of Aura, PwC’s audit documentation software, from the initial development, specifically writing the Aura User Guide, which explains how audit teams should use the software to perform and document a GAAS-compliant audit. I directed the project to write the new audit risk library, specifically to address the PCAOB Auditing Standard 2110 requirement relating to the documentation of likely sources of potential misstatements.I worked on the implementation of the Clarified ISAs for the PwC Network, specifically rewriting the PwC Audit Guide and audit work programmes to reflect the Clarified ISAs, focusing on the risk-model ISAs: ISA 240 (identifying and assessing fraud risk), ISA 250 (non-compliance with laws & regulations), ISA 300 (planning an audit), ISA 315 (identifying and assessing risks), ISA 330 (responding to risks), ISA 540 (auditing estimates), ISA 550 (related parties), ISA 570 (going concern)I was the Methodology representative on number of transformation projectsI was also the Lead Methodology reviewer for global Assurance training programmes (from first year associate to partner/manager) before release of the training material to the PwC Network.
