I am currently the Retail Store Manager for Just Jeans, Melbourne Central. My focus is on achieving organisational goals by developing my team personally and professionally.I commenced in retail as I was a strong communicator and it was a natural fit for me. Over the years, retail has been an amazing growth pillar for me as it’s provided opportunities and a platform for my own development. I’ve gained immense satisfaction as a leader by seeing the success of my team through their own achievements. I create a culture that has an open door policy, is fun, fast and friendly and one where we celebrate the wins. I’ve developed a strong focus on learning and development by working with my staff individually, in addition to facilitating larger pieces of transformational work. I love seeing those light bulb moments and when someone has achieved a long held goal.With over 15 years of experience across the retail industry I've spent the last 9 years in leadership roles. I am currently undertaking a Diploma of Human Resource Management & Management Leadership and have completed numerous professional development courses including the Just Future Leaders program. I have experience across training and coaching, staff development, recruitment, performance management, roster management, OH&S, stock management and visual merchandising. My current role as Store Manager - Just Jeans, allows me to fuel my passion for development by seeing the succession of my staff and how I can assist them to get them to where they want to be.
