At CTL, I served as a project manager in the geotechnical department. Typical work involved coordination and implementing subsurface investigations for commercial, residential developments, and infrastructure projects with a majority of the sites containing expansive soil and bedrock. Design work included ground improvement, mine shaft mitigation, slope stability analysis, forensic analysis, and pile design. I also helped with reviewing earth retention designs and construction plans as well as playing a major role in developing in-house GPS based surveying capabilities. My main responsibilities were overseeing subsurface investigations, geotechnical report writing and reviews, project management/billing, and writing proposals.

At GZA I have provided geotechnical engineering services for projects in urban, rural, and waterfront environments. My experience includes geotechnical site investigations, retaining wall design, pile design, dam inspections and rehabilitation, slope stability analysis, compaction grouting, drilled shaft design, installation and monitoring of various instrumentation, load testing of piles and soil nails/tie-back anchors, sampling and testing of fresh concrete and grout, temporary and permanent dewatering systems, surveying, monitoring construction activities, and more. My responsibilities included project management, various design analyses, development of construction plans, construction coordination and management was well as keeping close communication with owners, contractors, and government agencies throughout the course of a project.

My main responsibilities at Odeh were developing an in-house library of typical details in Autodesk Revit Structure, aiding engineers transition from AutoCAD to Revit Structure, developing sections of the Revit Structure user manual, assisting engineers with creating construction documents and reviewing of shop drawings.
