Thailand And Myanmar

• Led all strategic, programmatic and operational elements of USD60m 'Project for Local Empowerment' supporting local partners to deliver efficient and effective health, education, legal, protection, cash assistance and.
• Led project partnerships with a network of 35 indigenous community-based partner organizations as well as government ministries.

• Led USD50m, multi-sectoral 'SHIELD' project supporting local partners to provide humanitarian relief in the conflict zones of eastern Myanmar and border provinces of Thailand, assessed by external evaluators as an.
• Oversaw all program components, including capacity building of indigenous organizations to provide emergency community-based health, education, cash assistance and food security relief in conflict zones in eastern.
• Led coordination of a large partner network spanning more than 30 governmental, non-governmental and community-based partner organizations, delivering complex humanitarian and developmental assistance, with exemplary.
• Led program monitoring and evaluation systems, including the development of a web-based program database updated in real time, and a comprehensive and participatory expert review of the project’s remote monitoring.
• Led comprehensive strategic review of the SHIELD project design for a one-year, $10m cost extension, including an extensive internal review process, and participatory design process with project partners.
• Led IRC’s emergency response to mass displacement after the November 2010 elections in Myanmar, coordinating local and international humanitarian agencies and the government to facilitate the provision of emergency.

Thailand

• Co-led design and start-up of global pilot project for both the IRC and UNHCR that promotes access to justice and rights for refugees living in camps on the Thailand-Myanmar border.
• Led project efforts to assist refugees to understand and access remedies for rights violations, support the refugee leadership administer justice in camps more equitably, and engage Thai authorities and civil society.
• Led diverse, multi-cultural team of approximately 50 staff and 25 volunteers conducting legal case management, camp justice reform, legal and protection training and awareness, and advocacy.

• Coordinated IRC/ UNHCR 'Capacity Surge Protection Program' that recruits and deploys protection officers to UNHCR field offices globally.

Sudan

• Led IRC’s operations in the remote desert area of opposition-controlled northeast Sudan.
• Led team of 25 international and national staff in the design and implementation of primary health care, education, WASH and social organization programs with semi-nomadic pastoralist communities, with total annual.

• Conducted legal review and assessment of compensation claims against Iraq, arising out of Iraq’s invasion and occupation of Kuwait.
