    Project Management of the Woolwich Crossrail Station Box. Project Managed the successful completion of the Woolwich Station Box (256m long by 26m wide by 18m deep), with a 4 month programme reduction for beneficial early access for CRL. The Woolwich Box construction was completed in 4 months early and with no lost time accidents, whilst being located adjacent sensitive Grade 2 listed buildings and within a busy residential estate. The works involved large diameter piling, CFA piling, diaphragm walling, de-watering and the excavation of 100,000 cubic meters of soil. The scheme also included the design development and installation of all associated utilities and road network modifications, which fell within my remit. The Project Management of the Over Site Development frame that consisted circa 406 apartments that enveloped the Woolwich Box.

    Stratford City is a unique project with a value of £1.5 billion requiring significant infrastructure to the value of £250 million in the form of bridges, new roads, major utilities and rail enhancements to Stratford Station. This is needed to support the largest urban retail development in Europe which has a size of 1.9 million square feet. The site is adjacent to significant high speed, regional railway infrastructure and borders the Olympic Park and Athletes Village developments.Due to Westfield being a retail focused construction organization the infrastructure team of which I was part, was specifically put together to manage the portfolio of projects. I managed and delivered nine new upgrade and enhancement schemes ranging from £1million to £14 million in value for Westfield, the type of projects undertaken included rail, Bridges, reinforced structures, mechanical & electrical installations and utilitiesThese projects included the construction of the southern access bridge (Bridge 12) that provides vehicular access into Stratford City and the adjoining south retaining wall. The bridge was 230m in length by 20m in width and spans over 4 operational Network Rail (NR) lines plus Olympic loop road to the south part of the Olympic Park. The wall comprises reinforced concrete and was 8m high at its highest point and at its closest point to the railway only 4m from the nearest running rail.
