Shane Taylor is a skilled speaker, trainer, facilitator, and coach with a passion for helping people improve and strengthen their personal impact.For more than 10 years, he has worked with clients in the United States and abroad to strengthen their ability to build relationships, improve customer service, impact the bottom line, negotiate, navigate difficult conversations, lead teams, coach, strengthen confidence, and command a room.Having worked all over the United States and beyond, including Canada, United Kingdom, and Austria, Shane is comfortable with national and international groups alike.Shane is a graduate of Rutgers University’s Professional Acting Training Conservatory. Prior to beginning a professional career in acting, Shane held multiple service and sales positions in industries from retail to hospitality. Although he didn’t know it at the time, his experience in those early jobs laid the foundation for his understanding of customer service, human relations, sales, and the power of personal impact.As an actor, Shane landed a range of roles. In addition to movies and television, as part of his work in front of the camera, he found himself frequently cast in workplace training films for clients in many industries. He acted in dozens of videos and commercials for such companies as Wendy’s, Nickelodeon, Burger King, Macy’s, Kinney Drugs, and the city of West Orange, NJ. When an opportunity presented itself to teach Public Speaking, Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication, he leveraged what he knew about voice and speech, language, engagement, and sales and shifted his focus to training and facilitation.For several years, he’s worked as a classroom trainer, refining his craft and building his knowledge of interpersonal communication, customer service, sales, leadership, presentation skills, and facilitation.Shane is excited about the opportunity to make positive impact in his community and beyond.
