Partner with Division Operations to set strategic vision to identify areas for improvement and recommend actions to senior management to facilitate the continuous business Improvements in pipeline construction activities. Collaborate with Executive Contractor leadership to identify areas for improvement and to recommend actions to drive maturity and to facilitate the continuous business improvements in Safety and Quality for pipeline construction activities. Frequently communicate with all levels throughout the organization including functional Vice￾Presidents, Directors and Managers at both the division and corporate levels. Engage with federal and state regulatory commission representatives, as well as, vendors, other utility Executives and governmental entities.

Primary responsibility is managing the Construction Operations and Maintenance activities, emergency response and capital improvement projects that includes the use of numerous contractors for the SNV Construction Department in Las Vegas for Southwest Gas Corporation. Oversee maintenance and installation scheduling for new and existing gas systems, resolve operational problems, utilize project planning and monitoring methods to ensure timely completion, direct and oversee major construction projects ensuring that facilities are constructed in conformance with company standards and the applicable regulations. Budget responsibilities include a multi- million budget; prepare district budget; control operating and capital expenses; and forecast operating, maintenance, and capital budgets. District manager must ensure that the District, its systems and its records are maintained in accordance with applicable tariffs, code regulations and company policy. Position requires one ensures that Paiute, its systems and its records are maintained in accordance with applicable tariffs, DOT code regulations and company policy. Also oversaw a multi-million dollar budget that responsibilities included assist with preparation of the departmental budget; control operating and capital expenses; and forecast operating, maintenance, and capital budgets. Further responsibilities include monthly gas accounting reporting to be utilized for billing, input and close work orders, petty cash, accounts payable, material purchasing, warehouse inventory management, initiate purchase requisitions and file management.
