Construction Manager
Primary responsibility is managing the Construction Operations and Maintenance activities, emergency response and capital improvement projects that includes the use of numerous contractors for the SNV Construction Department in Las Vegas for Southwest Gas Corporation. Position requires the frequent exchange information with outside consultants as well as multiple units outside of Operations and be able to influence peer management, senior management, customers, suppliers and government officials.

Also oversaw a multi-million dollar budget that responsibilities included assist with preparation of the departmental budget; control operating and capital expenses; and forecast operating, maintenance, and capital budgets. Further responsibilities include monthly gas accounting reporting to be utilized for billing, input and close work orders, petty cash, accounts payable, material purchasing, warehouse inventory management, initiate purchase requisitions and file management. Technical Services Supervisor supervised eight employees; two Measurement and Control, four Compressor Technicians, one Corrosion and one Office Representative. Personnel management responsibilities were to ensure that the labor force is maintained at appropriate demand level, establish cost-effective staffing of projects, ensure subordinates’ assignments are completed on time, communicate and enforce departmental policy, hiring of personnel, direct and instruct personnel training: initial and recertification per 49 CFR Code 192.Finally, this position provided public liaison training with emergency response agencies, prepared reports required by governmental agencies and maintained liaison with other departments within the organization.
Lng Plant Supervisor / Paiute Pipeline
