Would you rather have your staff looking at a vaccine fridge, or administering vaccines? If the answer is so obvious, than why do so many pharmacies and GPs get it wrong? And the answer lies 20 years ago in the age of dodgy fridges, dodgy doctors (and pharmacists etc, but "dodgy doctors" makes for great alliteration), dodgy thermometers, and just general dodgy dodginess. Fridges have now improved, Doctors are more aware. And thermometers are now awesome wireless temperature loggers (a.k.a. Clever Logger).Unfortunately dodgy dodginess still prevails in the form of outdated standards, obsolete practices, and people too afraid to make a change. So my mission in business is two fold...1. I want to make a product that will transform the way vaccines are monitored (and Clever Logger is making this happen)2. I want to drag the industry into the 21st century so that technology can give time back to the usersLet's start the conversation about how we can be monitoring our vaccines more effectively and efficiently!!!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But as for me a bit more generally:I run OnSolution. That's my business. We try to make a difference in the world by making it a slightly safer place. We do that through selling temperature loggers, hand washing training products, sterilisation tracking software, and some other odds and ends.I write some of the software. Not much. My team has the temperature logging under control so I can focus on ranting. I keep my hand in the game by doing the the sterilisation tracking software.I do online marketing. I love modern marketing because it is based on providing help and information, about building trust, and about expressing ideas. I also do it in some of the most difficult industries.I'm an author. Twice over in fact. The Rotten Food Cookbook is all about food safety (shhh, don't tell anyone else, they think it is about food poisoning). The other book is "Thinking For Yourself" which was a fund raiser for Hands Across The Water. I'm an entrepreneur. Actually, I don't think I am because I know many others who do a much better job, but I suspect it is a bit like a label such as ADHD. It now appears that every successful business person ever either had ADHD or autism or dyslexia or all of the above. Any one who knows me will tell you which boxes I tick. I'm a public speaker and trainer. It's a bit like marketing, but involves a lot more hand waving. And I am a real person.

I think it's important to say that, in this age of fake news, fake photos, fake profiles, scammers, con-artists and dodgy overseas companies. And that's why I am happy to give myself a fairly honest description. -
Keeper Of The VisionOnsolution Sep 2015 - PresentCastle Hill, New South Wales, AustraliaThe Rotten Food Cookbook is a parody cookbook dealing with food safety issues. Each recipe is a mix of humour (dad jokes), normal instructions, bad instructions, a food safety tip, and a link to other resources. From the moment someone sees the title they can't help but pick up the book, and then they have a (sick) fascination as they look at recipes like "Chicken Seizure Salad" and "Beef Bogenough" while at the same time being reminded or taught about cross contamination and the danger zone. The Rotten Food Cookbook has allowed me to explain why food safety is important (it's not about safe food, it's about riding the porcelain bus and social media) my way. It's fun and effective. It has also allowed me to present to groups talks about effective food safety training or effective communication. -
