Aleap has in a short time grown to become the largest innovation community for health startups in Scandinavia. Aleap works closely with all Norwegian university communities and has become a national health innovation hub. GE Healthcare provides transformational medical technologies and services in medical imaging and information technologies, medical diagnostics, patient monitoring systems, drug discovery, biopharmaceutical manufacturing technologies, performance improvement and performance solutions. As the Global Director for Customer Research my role was to ensure that the voice of customer was heard and considered during new product development and launch initiatives. Not restricted by product modality or geography I played a key role in sharing best practice across the global organisation and realizing cost and time efficiencies. I led a global team of ten customer research specialists to support regional and product teams with customer insight programs. Concurrently, I was also a key participant in designing and executing on CEO sanctioned insight programs. My role in these programs varied from program leader to subject matter expert.SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS• Designed and led execution of global customer journey program to support customer experience initiative. Delivered actionable insights to global and regional leaders.• Recognised as expert resource in ensuring that customer insight is incorporated into new product development• Remotely led and expanded offshore shared service team to support global Healthcare business – 10 FTE, 250+ programs annually, $6.5MUSD spend• Implemented preferred vendor panel – 20% cost reduction, 70+ vendors reduced to 20.
