I'm an Oregon Institute of Technology graduate working full-time as a Systems Administrator for SecurePoint, LLC., a small Lake Oswego based MSP, primarily serving clients in the greater Portland-Metro area. The business has evolved greatly over the past couple of years and we are excited to continue growing as an organization, bringing on new clients who are either growing into a need for managed IT services or who are having difficulties with their existing service provider. When I am not doing IT, I also moonlight as a Tasting Room Associate and am still employed part-time at Alexana Winery. I've also poured for events at Arbor Brook Vineyards and Cooper Mountain Vineyards on multiple occasions. The subject of wine has been a passion of mine and I enjoy being able to share my experience with new and experienced folk in the industry alike. While I was pursuing my degree at OIT, I worked on campus as a Help Desk Technician for the Portland-Metro ITS department. Responsibilities included responding to and documenting calls to IT-related issues, assisting users with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, and managing the onsite server and network infrastructure. With a great interest in computer technology, networking, and software development, I am always looking to learn new subject that help advance my knowledge and expand on what I already know in those respective fields, as well as learning new subjects that may or may not relate to my current interests.
