Based in Kampala, Uganda, I'm very proud of my mixed heritage. My mother is a strong willed, grounded woman from Guyana. My father is a character, and a serial entrepreneur from Uganda. Both have mixed roots themselves.I was born in England, I grew up in Uganda and was fortunate enough to be surrounded by people from all over the world contributing in various degrees to the development of the country. Safari's, camping, and hunting 'in the bush' helped shape my love of wild places and conservation. My parents taught me the importance of respect, taking up a cause and having an open mind to different cultures. I enjoyed my education in England at Pangbourne and moved to China - straight out of Roehampton University to find my own path in life. I loved living in Shanghai, where I was based for over 16 years. The city was electric. The business challenges were numerous, constant and diverse. The people that live there are from all walks of life, doing things I'd never imagined people would move to China to do.I'm a proud member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization. It has made me a better man. I spent 11 years helping build the boxing industry in China. I have always been an event organizer and consider myself a creative at core. One of the major loves in my life is music, and the creation music experiences. I am fortunate to have found my purpose in life, which is in the creation of meaningful experiences in wild locations, with an emphasis on conservation. I do this with my friend and business partner, and our team at Energy Resorts which we started in 2021. We are continuing to build this company this year and are working on a very exciting project in Uganda.I am also a co-founder in nuhive, and the Ibra Foundation.
