I currently have the fortune of working with a team of talented Legislative Assistants. We are creating new training and mentoring programs and expanding access to professional development.

*Provide executive-level assistance to elected officals;*Generate written correspondence to cabinet officials, national leaders, and constituents often under a tight deadline, and covering a wide-range of subjects;*Improve communication methods in-house to include custom digital documents that make great use of social media communication tools;*Create weekly (during session) and monthly (during interim) legislative updates for local newspapers which provide a unique perspective on the work of the legislature;*Serve on the LRC Millennial Task-force Committee aimed at recruiting and retaining millennial employees. The task-force researches and suggests policy changes to modernize LRC practice and procedure;*Serve on informal Legislative Assistant Workgroup to stream-line and update Legislative Assistant services. As a member, I regularly update manuals, host "Best Practices" workshops, and coordinate training on new technology and protocol.

*Chair LRC Wellness Committee which delivers in-house custom wellness component: LRC On the Move;*Recruit LRC employees with unique skills, abilities, and perspectives to grow the wellness brand at LRC;* Plan and host monthly meetings to propose activities, share resources, create and approve marketing materials, and strategize brand growth;*Work with Director's Team to create success metrics and expand message reach;*Host "Wellness Week" annually to kick-off a new year of the program. Wellness Week features daily activities, access to vast resources, increased communications, and prize drawings for participants; and*Network with community health players to spread awareness of local health offerings available to employees.

*Worked directly with the Human Resources Director for the City of Frankfort and the Mayor's Office.*Created HR document templates which were used to communicate with the staff. *Served as the contact point at City Hall between city employees and Humana's Vitality wellness program. *Developed many contacts that allowed me to resolve any employee concerns with the program and alleviate barriers to participation. *Organized raffles and blood drive charity events to spread a sense of community throughout downtown Frankfort.
