    After closing the MetroMacs Leawood KS retail store Aug 2015, only months after it opened, I took most of 2016 for contemplation and reflection. I determined I achieved everything in a sense when it came to starting a business to closing it when it was at its prime, which was the hardest.Interestingly, I caught interest in a new startup that opened a year later. Being a franchise business I wasn’t sure how the owner would be after our scheduled meeting. Of topic was the reason behind the abrupt nature of the closing, everything was kept private. I have only spoken to a handful at great length about what really happened and he probably knows the most. As I made his business money he saw my interest wasn’t making a lot of money from him, it was ok with just a portion to live on. I enjoyed helping him and educate his techs.
