My primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Researching implementation of conceptual objectives through new technology• Lecturing• Developing technical lesson plans• Testing out new equipment• Developing in Unity, Unreal Engine, and code languages for interactive media• Working with students who need support• Serve as lead software developer for the Awareness Based Design Lab• Manage teams of programmers as needed• Learn emerging technological systems for creative applications• Act as lead augmented reality developer on an interdisciplinary project with the UNL department ofPhysics

-Created data visualizations that the HCC shows visitors during outreach tours.-Iterated upon old visualizations and added virtual reality support.-Collaborated with coworkers to test and brainstorm functionality for visualizations.

-Developed several virtual reality demos in Unity as examples for students.-Taught students to use current 3D game engines to create there own VR experiences.-Worked with students to help the solve virtual reality, Unity, and programming related problems.-Consolidated student projects into a single class showcase.

-Researched novel ways of representing data such as sonification.-Built 3D visualizations for git histories to help represent how they work.-Performed user studies to gather information about the representation's effectiveness.-Created Unity editor tools for the UNL Anthropology department's virtual reality project.
