I have an extensive knowledge in financing and credit analysis and most recently in the financial services market selling financial products. I have always done remodeling, construction, renovation and finishing projects outside of my full time employment because I really enjoy having a vision, designing and creating a project, big or small, then being able to take action and utilize my knowledge and experience to make the vision a reality. After a short stint in the construction industry working full time, I learned that once something you love doing as a hobby becomes an obligation in order to eat, and that when it is the primary source of income and not just a recreation fund, the enjoyment dissipates. What I gained from that 2 year journey though was invaluable and I have been able to incorporate the lessons learned into every facet of my life. I've also recognized strengths and attributes that I didn't realize were so prevalent in myself. I love communicating with people and have done well at listening to what others are communicating to me. That skill, if you want to call it that, can be very valuable if applied in the right arena. Last year, I decided to apply it by obtaining my insurance licenses and becoming a field agent. I believe that when you actually hear what someone is telling you, connecting them to the resources they are seeking happens naturally, though convincing people to commit to anything usually takes some additional initiative.
