• Sundance Resources Limited is an Australian mining company whose main assets are iron ore leases in Cameroon and in the Republic of Congo. Worked on the Déclaration d'Utilité Publique (DUP) for the Mbalam Rail Project.
• Gathered and processed all available spatial data for the project; prepared and processed digital surface models (DSM) from LiDAR point data, as well as high resolution aerial photography to obtain base spatial data.
• Travelled to Cameroon to liaise with and train local staff in field data acquisition, usage, and distribution.
• Organised the capture of data from all points of interest, including cadastral, cultural, drainage, and vegetation, along with other relevant data.
• Coordinated with the project team to align data with proposed work schedule by way of data acquisition, processing, and dissemination of acquired spatial data.

• Streamlined the data structure, achieving easily-navigable end-user storage and setup of daily data management with a shift from MapInfo GIS to ArcGIS, and AMG to MGA grid re-projection.

• The Agnew Gold Mine is a gold mine located 3 km west of Agnew, WA, and is owned by the South African mining company Gold Fields.
• Commenced on an initial 6-week contract through Co-Ordinated Drafting with WMC’s Agnew Gold Mining Operations. Offered and accepted position as Mining Cartographer.
• Filled the role of sole GIS Administrator on site (on a FIFO basis) post the shift in ownership from WMC to Gold Fields.
• Performed change management; advocated and managed restructuring of relevant graphical and tabular data (CAD, imagery, Surpac, Database, and various other forms) into an accessible GIS system.
• Facilitated offsite training for appropriate personnel, building up skills in GIS to utilise Agnew site data.
• Created and submitted illustrative graphics using CorelDraw and Photo Paint.
