I practice commercial, workplace and family mediation with my partners and associates in ARC Mediation. ARC was founded in 2010 to provide legal research & mediation services to the successful National Industrial Relations Alliance and have mediated hundreds of cases since.I specialise in conflict management for businesses, helping to resolve workplace disputes, owner/partner disputes and succession planning. Clients have ranged from small family businesses to MNC's and public sector organisations. My educational and work background involves over a decade spent as a Telecoms Research Engineer in a technology incubator & research institute; working on a diverse range of exciting technologies including Data Protection tools, ambient intelligence, VoIP switch design and implementation, building streaming applications for Peer-to-Peer networks and monitoring the performance of HPC in private-cloud environments. I have presented at international conferences on both IT and Mediation and have applied my engineering knowledge to develop new models for mediating disputes and also to measure their efficacy, in association with researchers in WIT. With my ARC and WIT colleagues, I have also published several journal articles statistically analysing outcomes in the Irish Family courts.
