Forum Events USA was acquired by BLR in November 2016 based on the great success of the format in the USA. I went onto to launch the Talent Acquisition & Retention Summit. In addition making sure events hit best possible revenue and overseeing smooth running of the whole process from pre to post event. I was also responsible for developing sponsorship on a series of bespoke conference/ expo formatted events.

I launched a series of very successful structured business networking events for the U.S. market including the HR & Employee Benefits Summit, Training & Development Summit. This was from concept, through to choosing locations, marketing to both delegates and sponsors as well as building full seminar programs.

As Senior Event Manager I was responsible for launching new events within the Forum Events portfolio. My duties included brainstorming ideas through to concept and delivering long term successful summits. During my time at the company I was responsible for creating several flagship events. These include the Training & Development Summit, EXECSec, the Venues & Destinations Summit and more recently the London Venues Summit. Not only was I the sales manager behind each event I was also responsible for creating image and design as well as putting all marketing activity in place. I would also source and develop relationships with media partners, associations and moderators all to enhance the events branding and continued development. The events would also include a seminar programme which I would research and put in place. The end result developing new and existing business relationships with a very high calibre portfolio of clients.

Marketing over 40 West End Theatres with regard to using Theatre as a venue whether it be a Conference, Seminar, Presentation, Product Launch or indeed any other purpose. Also establishing strong working relationships with clients for continued business providing full corporate hospitality for all West End Productions. In fact we were official hospitality provider for many major shows such as, ‘Wicked’, ‘The Lion King’, ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Hairspray’. Putting together proposals for prospective clients, either working to particular specifications or creating ideas for a whole variety of events. Working not only with individuals but venues, corporations, charities and government bodies Constantly liaising with established suppliers and sourcing new ones for continued high service and rates. I was also responsible for the full day to day running of the office.

Constantly liaising with established suppliers and sourcing new ones for continued high service and rates. I was also responsible for the full day to day running of the office.

Primarily focusing on Sporting Events such as International Rugby, Football, (both international and Premiership), Horse Racing, Cricket, Golf, Tennis, and Motor Racing etc. Also tailor making packages for West End Theatre and International trips such as a New York excursion. Liaising with clients, building rapport and maximizing all potential business with client base as well as sales to other Hospitality Agents.
