Served as the product manager for the Joint Battle Command-Platform, leading a geographically dispersed team to manage the entire acquisition life cycle of the Army and US Marine Corp’s next generation friendly-force tracking system. The product is a complex, system of systems, consisting of hardware, software, and a satellite-based and IP-based network. • Managed a program with a total lifecycle budget of over $3.7B with yearly expenditures of over $500M distributed across research and development, procurement, and sustainment. Directly led 30 personnel and indirectly led over a 150+ product distribution team globally located throughout the world. • Developed a strategy to deliver the product to the Army two years faster to support modernization efforts.• Awarded six major contract initiatives worth over $1.5B to support rapid modernization initiatives. • Reorganized the product into current operations and future initiatives, consisting of a team focused on research and development. This has enabled the team to budget and plan for modernization in future years. As a result, the team has gained access to an additional $15M per year funding to support research and development activities in support of Army-wide modernization initiatives
