Graduate student and teaching assistant in Meteorology and Geography at Northern Illinois University. Research interests include radar meteorology, radar climatology, tornadogensis, severe thunderstorm dynamics, and atmospheric hazards.Graduated from Valparaiso University with a BA in History. My thesis researched focused on Japanese society during World War II and the influences of traditional Japanese symbolism on the war effort. In order to pursue my lifelong passion of meteorology I returned to school at Illinois Institute of Technology in order to study calculus and physics as a non-degree student in order to pursue graduate school in atmospheric science.I am experienced in a variety of areas such as writing, research in many disciplines, presentation and public speaking skills, and critical analysis. Goal and detail oriented, multitasking professional who displays a disciplined, efficient work ethic. Effective team member who is comfortable collaborating or leading.
