Worked alongside executive director on maintaining and operating every aspect of patient care in an impatient substance abuse and behavioral health facility. Working along side Clinical and Nursing Director, oversaw between 30-50 empoyees and 40-100 patients and their coordination of needs and rehabilitation, respectively. Reported to Executive Director and Corporate Executive team.

Led local community development of resource dissemination and creating easier pathways for enrollment into proper inpatient care; Lead a managerial role with subordinate interventionists and worked closely with clinical team for patients presenting maladaptive and/or disruptive tendencies while receiving care at facility. Coordination sessions with Executive, Medical, and Clinical Director on weekly basis to discuss client behaviors and plan of care.

Coordinated policy and operating procedures as Intake Director in 200-bed in patient substance abuse facility. Worked to bring facility to codes and standards expected by both the state health codes and guidelines as well as CARF and Jahco requirements for accreditation. Worked to integrate existing the EMR system with new standards and specific state requirements.

Technical title was Executive Org Officer, responsibilities were to assist the facility operations team incorporate and maintain the company’s strategic plan as well as ensure the facility was able to meet CAARF standards for accreditation. During my time in the role, I worked as Health and Safety Coordinator for getting the facility ready for an audit by CAARF in order to get the accreditation. Our team successfully met all standards and was granted the accreditation, and with the highest to standard area being the standards for health and safety.

Technical title was Registrar, position was telecommunication placement of those in crises and seeking inpatient treatment for substance abuse and behavioral health, as well as co-occurring conditions. I spoke to the potential client, their family, in the process of convincing the client of his need for care. Once established, Insurance information is gathered and processed to see the type of plan, the deductible, then coordinate a facility that would be most suitable for the client’s both in treatment and economically viable given each clients individualized needs.
