I am a passionate individual that unequivocally believes that arts and culture is for the whole community and that our creative expression gives voice to us as individuals, challenges perceptions and helps us see the world through the eyes of others, and importantly, helps the world see us, our diversity, uniqueness and the richness of our own identity.Possessing an extensive range of skills and depth of experience as a senior leader in the arts and cultural sector attained through 20+ years of dedicated service and demonstrable achievement, I have successfully managed high achieving cultural organisations; undertaken large-scale international projects; developed and implemented city-wide cultural policy and strategic vision; developed multi-million dollar public art strategies and commissions; empowered a team culture of collaboration and recognition; and achieved spectacular growth and recognition for the institutions that I have managed.Further, I have undertaken the development and realisation of major cultural infrastructure projects; identified, developed and implemented cultural policy development, cultural economic development, cultural planning and development, art in public spaces; urban place-making and activation; and the provision of ongoing sustainable support and opportunities for the numerous arts and cultural organisations, artists, educators, youth and diverse multi-cultural communities.
