Teck Cominco: Mining and minerals- Installation of new acid tanks, large bore (36") saramet stainless steel piping field fit-up and installation.

The college provides technical trades training for the piping industry, primarily focused on plumbing, sprinklerfitting, steamfitting and welding. Certification received at these facilities may lead to the awarding of Red Seal Journeyperson designation.- Initially instructed classes and progressed into a management position.- Streamlined existing delivery models which allowed for greater efficiencies.- Developed systems to comply with government grading and reporting standards.- Managed and implemented an on-line apprenticeship welder level C theory training system; which is hosted, managed and maintained internally.- Successfully solicited and received awarding for the delivery of training for a new trade designation, which was recently introduced in British Columbia.- Organised existing business systems, including contract review, implementation of standards compliance, and research and deployment of new educational programmes.- Additional duties included the management of about 200 computers and servers, as well as the network spanning across three campuses connected via VPN.

Canadian Natural Resources: processing- Participated in the construction and commissioning of this refinery, primarily with troubleshooting of commissioning disruptions.

Suncor: extraction and refining- Re-and-re'd steam-traps in the main plant.- Laid-out and installed piping systems in and around plant areas.

Petro Canada: refinery conversion- Transformed existing oil refinery to process northern Alberta oil sands product.- Field fit pre-fabricated spool pieces, as well as repaired and refitted existing installs.

Fabrication shop- Spool sheet fabricating for Surrey's Clayton pumping station expansion, 36" carbon.- Created mixed wall piping fit-ups of carbon steel and copper nickel for BC Ferries.- Prefabricated fuel barge: socket and butt welds with small bore carbon.

Copper & Moly Mine and Pulp & Paper Mill- Gibraltar mine, copper and moly mine: process tanks conversion and re-pipe: rubber lined, heavy wall 24" carbon, slurry lines and pinch valves, Vic-taulic (grooved) and bold-up as well as heavy rigging.- Kamloops Domtar paper mill: replace turpentine tank. SCBA and SA mask work, caustic chemicals and fumes within an asbestos laden environment.

Canada Auto Parts Toyota Inc: wheel plant foundry- Repaired damaged systems, installed new equipment and piping.- PVC glued, and bell and spigot; carbon and galvanised, Vic-taulic (grooved), screwed and flange fit-ups, pneumatics, in addition to below ground piping.

Vancouver General Hospital, Ambulatory Care Facility: new construction- Installed heating lines as well as layout and canning.- Small bore copper (soldering and brazing), black iron piping (threading), Vic-taulic.

University of British Columbia: steam and condensate lines. Greater Vancouver Regional District: Mount Seymour water treatment facility.- Condensate lines, schedule 80 carbon, fit-up spools and field runs, insulating.Geothermal, 42 kilometres of HDPE, fusion joining; 108"​ (9'​) diameter carbon, fit-up for butt strap welding, 16' gate valves, bolt-up, and heavy rigging.

Support Services

CBT, Computer Based Training, safety training developer and computer kiosk manufacturer- Provided in-house and on-site support for the development and delivery of a computer based training system tailored to the marine industry.- Clients included: BC Ferries, TK Shipping Lines, Canada Steamship Lines, Washington State Ferries, and Alaska Marine Highways.

Data logistics and asset cost controlling- Supported and maintained portable data terminals, computer systems and an "almost" real-time logistcs, inventorying and damage control reporting system for automotive manufacturers.- Clients included Chrysler, DaimlerChrysler, Nissan, and Toyota.
