My role at Glumac was Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer. My responsibilities varied from managing over a dozen active projects to providing mechanical engineering consulting and business development to bring the company new revenue. As a Project Manager I have a track record of providing quality deliverables and gaining repeat business from clients. As a Mechanical Engineer I leveraged my strong technical expertise in building design and optimization to inject sustainability into projects. I creatively developed solutions that increase energy, water and waste efficiency, as well as promote social equity, while working within the financial and technical constraints of the project.Project Management Responsibilities-Managed internal team of engineers and coordinating with other consultants to meet deadlines-Responsible for cost management, schedule, codes/standards and technical performance-Mentored younger engineers -Provided QA/AC of drawings -Responded to RFPs through proposals with scope and fees-Communicated with Architects and Owners to keep them informed of progress and work to meet their goals of deadlines, cost, and quality- Managed projects from concept phase through construction administration.Mechanical Engineering Responsibilities-Provided comprehensive HVAC design on a variety of airside and hydronic systems.
