CurrentThis position manages the lawyer and employee development portfolio along with the onboarding of new employees.⮚ Engineered and designed the new employee virtual online intranet site by transforming the new employee orientation into a digital format. ⮚ Streamlined the new hire process for managers and new employees from their moment of hire to three months after. ⮚ Currently in phase two of the onboarding project which involves a detailed task and needs analysis of the client facing staff new employee training. This analysis involves surveys to managers and new employees to find gaps in the process. ⮚ Sourced monthly webinars for our legal staff to satisfy the Law Society of Ontario’s continuing professional development requirements. Topics include major changes in legislation, equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace, client management plus more.⮚ Developing a French Language Curriculum with subject matter experts for legal staff who provide services in French. ⮚ Partnered with subject matter experts for specialized court training that allows anyone who completes the training to have a general understanding and to work in Youth court, Mental Health court, Gladue court and Drug Treatment court.⮚ Sourcing Executive training through external vendors by creating learning objectives from CEO’s requirements, interviewing business schools using said learning objectives and providing a recommendation based on expertise. ⮚ Working with the Human Resources Business Partners to design and develop a program for leadership development for non-managers.
