• Provided leadership for a non-profit arts and cultural organization cofounded by Stephen Spielberg’s Righteous Persons Foundation and the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies. Among the productions are events, exhibitions, recordings, books, films, DIY activity toolkits, and apps. • Helped develop and manage a network of over 500 volunteers made up of the country’s leading young creatives, activists and entrepreneurs— film directors and producers; founders and executives of the websites Google, Facebook, and Buzzfeed; creators and senior writers of the television shows such as Transparent, The Office, and Orange is the New Black; journalists from New York Times Magazine, LA Times, Wall Street Journal and San Francisco Chronicle; community organizers; creative academics; non-profit leaders; chefs, actors, digital media strategists at the forefront of creative enterprise. • Managed the implementation of products and programs resulting from a design thinking workshop conducted in collaboration with IDEO- including the development of an app designed to help people unplug on the weekends. • Developed and implemented multiple successful programs, including the National Day of Unplugging (which achieved significant scale and received multiple national awards for PR/Marketing) and Sukkah City (the second most entered public architecture competition in American history). • Managed outreach and marketing for programs that yielded over 1 million online users, 1,400 live events with over 600,000 participants, and 1,472 broadcast, print and online media stories with over 1.5 billion media impressions. These programs were all scaled from small pilot programs with a few hundred initial participants. • Managed an annual budget of over $2 million and helped raise over $14 million total.• Completely rebuilt all internal operations, including fund development, financial management, marketing and outreach and IT infrastructure.

I provided executive leadership to the organization, working to build the capacity of non-profits around the country to better serve their communities and constituents. I significantly increased the organizations membership, programmatic impact, and resources.

• Provided executive leadership for a public health non-profit corporation that focuses on preventative health education and health career preparation for children. • Greatly expanded the impact and scope of the programs. Increased the number of children using the curriculum from 100 to over 108,000 within two years. Developed and implemented six new programs in one year. Focused on under resourced communities and children living in poverty. • Tripled the annual budget in less than six months. Acquired over $500,000 in grant, special event, individual giving and unrestricted funds in 18 months. Majority of grant funds from local, state, and federal government sources.

• Served on the management team of a nonprofit community development corporation with 23 employees and a $4 million annual operating budget. • Managed 8 full time staff and multiple consultants. Managed 20 separate annual funding contracts from public and private foundations; local, state and federal governments; banks; and for-profit corporations. Built and maintained partnerships with other nonprofit organizations. • Managed asset building and special programs at agency, including microenterprise development, individual development accounts, downpayment assistance to first time homebuyers, homebuyer education and counseling, financial literacy education, capacity building for non-profit faith and community based organizations, minor home repair, ex-offender reentry, home based childcare business development, a public marketplace and farmers market, rural refugee projects, and others.

• Responsible for all fund development and marketing at the organization, including creating and implementing development plans. • Raised $15,437,404 in grant and contract funding for capacity building for faith and community based organizations, public markets, microenterprise development, individual development account, financial literacy and homeownership programs. Sources for funding include public and private foundations; local, state and federal governments; banks; and for-profit corporations.
