I'm a music producer, teacher, and audio / visual artist who develops synchronized sensory technology with an emphasis on real time and performance. I've played alongside Griz, Astral Projection, Juno Reactor, Amon Tobin, Gorgon City, SNBRN, and many others in the festival and club settings as well as more intimate Tech and Technology events. There is great meaning for me in pedagogy. I care about those I teach and form lifelong connections. My students come from diverse backgrounds, ages(13-75), and skill sets. I tutored the well established musicians LMFAO in performance and sound design for pop/EDM in the year before their chart topping success. I currently teach a founding 1970's DSP researcher at Stanford who's now doing semi aleatory generative jazz/new music composition in Ableton with Max/MSP. I have a steadfast patience and enthusiasm which has opened avenues to my students with ADD and other learning disabilities. After 1x1 mentoring for about 11 years, I'm now working with Pyramind Music and Audio Production Institute in a classroom setting as well as developing broader curriculum. As an ever curious lifelong learner, I am always upgrading my skill set to encompass new technologies as well as creating my own.
