Shane Bivens has been fortunate to have been a part of some of the hottest industries and companies at the most opportune times. 
At the height of the .com revolution; Shane Started an Internet Company in Zionsville Indiana serving Mom & Pop Mortgage Companies. Profitable on the first day this business was sold to a private company in the same year. 
Shane then focused on his education taking over 200 Credit Hours of College Courses in Business, Philosophy, Psychology, Biology and the emerging field of Neuroscience. Shane also started and was involved with over a dozen Central Indiana Companies during this time. Notably Founding an eCommerce & High-End Housewares distribution company in Fishers IN. 
Also during this time Shane specialized in Organizational Development/ Psychology and Rapid Growth Strategies. This lead to Shane working with many clients including Just Marketing International; of which, Seth Godin and Mark Cuban cited as one of the worlds most remarkable businesses in their 2005 book “The Big Moo: Stop trying to Be Perfect and Start Being Remarkable”. 
At the beginning of the rapid growth of Online Education and whilst working on another Venture, Shane was recruited to market online degree granting programs by ITT/ESI Online. Shane provided insights through deep market analysis and visualization leading to a role as the ‘Content and Decision Data Analytics Guy’ at ITT/ESI. This organization grew to 400 employees and 147,000 students at its 2012 peak. 
In 2012 Shane was headhunted by Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals Inc., as their Technologist and first outside of industry hire, to assist/advise through their rapid growth and expansion into other markets.
From 2012-2015 Shane worked for the Princeton NJ based pharmaceutical company. They recently achieved FDA approval of a small chip, much smaller than a grain of rice and coated with medication, when swallowed it is powered by digestive juices. This chip sends out a signal to a wearable device allowing patients, and those in their care cycle, to monitor prescription drug compliance (among other data points).
Shane was a key team member behind the creation and implementation of an advanced Learning Management System (LMS). Based on Social Constructivism theory, Semantic Heuristics and Behavioral Analytics; this application is able to re/construct lesson plans/strategies from all the available data about an individual and adapt on the fly to their learning needs. Leading to a $15MM dollar Venture Capital Series B funding round for the Intellectual Capital retaining partner.
