I provided advise, speech writing, press-releases and op-ed pieces on all matters related to the Operating Budget Adjustments project and TransformUS initiative. My role often dealt with crisis management, preparing talking points for spokespeople during media appearances, planning town hall meetings and press events, and ghost writing for members of the U of S leadership team. This involved developing strategies to effectively communicate project progress with all stakeholders including the student body, faculty, operational staff, facilities and general public.

Norseman Structures is a subsidiary of Norseman Inc. located in Edmonton, Alberta. Norseman Inc. is also the parent company of Norseman All Foam in Calgary and of the Camper’s Village chain of retail stores in Edmonton and Calgary.I worked with a team of artists and Marketing Managers within the Marketing and Communications department, providing project management and creative services in the form of strategy, conceptualization, design, production and distribution of marketing tools and collateral to the whole organization and our international dealer network. As such, all work was routinely translated into numerous languages and designed for global distribution. This work included magazine, newspaper and web advertisements, all printed materials, video, photography and supporting IT in the development of the corporate website and Intranet site. The role provided a wide range of service and support targeted at both internal and external audiences.

My first marching orders were to redesign the overall look of the paper including a new tabloid size layout, new masthead, and to lead the overhaul of the aging production department assets with a modernized Mac-based production pipeline.
