In June of 2006, I entered the Mortgage Industry with Maple Tree Funding as the Business/Financial Analyst for the company. Prior to entering the Mortgage Industry I was the Process Engineer for the Georgia Pacific Corporation for five years. The question people ask me after learning this is "How does an engineer end up in the mortgage industry?" Here is how...I have always enjoyed problem solving and finance which led me into the role I am currently in with Maple Tree Funding. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and after joining Georgia Pacific became fascinated with the finance side of the business.I met the owner of Maple Tree Funding, Martin Pfeiffenberger, while we were both working at Georgia Pacific. Marty started Maple Tree Funding in 2003 with a vision of a Mortgage Company that focused on meeting the needs of clients as a top priority. I became very interested in his vision and joined Maple Tree Funding to help Marty make Maple Tree Funding a company that has all the necessary tools to make the mortgage process as easy as possible for our clients.Analyzing a file and finding the strength's of each borrower is very important for the success of a mortgage application. I feel that my background gives me the ability to assist clients in obtaining their mortgage with as little stress as possible. Being a Mortgage Broker we work with dozens of lenders, each having multiple lending programs such as Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA Home Loan Products. Having all of these options allows me to review each product from each lender and present options to my clients. I focus on getting my clients the best program for their needs. I will keep you updated every step of the way and make it a priority to explain the steps as we go. I truly value the meaning of great customer service, and that is my number one priority.
