    Starting out with an organisation that was the first competitor to the Telstra in Brisbane was one of the most exciting times in my career. Firstly working in the Brisbane office where we had to put 'diallers' into customer premises to insert the 1414 prefix in front of all STD/IDD numbers (for a fee of course). If you remember, as a customer you would receive a Telstra invoice with no call details.......just a figure.Melbourne was calling in 1994 as the Victorian Sales Manager, with key accounts coming on board including a 2Mbps Fixed Wireless link - which was a big deal.By late 1995 I had moved again to be NSW Sales manager, a role that provided myself plenty challengers. It also provided fantastic opportunities to be involved in the Head Office of the organisation and be exposed to the workings on a much higher level.
