Having completed 9 years service within various Royal Marine units, gaining experience in operations, delivering evolving capabilities and effective team leadership in the specialist area of armoured support. Directly responsible for the output of the unit, including the management of all servicing and rectification work by leading my team of 8 qualified technicians/drivers. In this I ensure that my troop of 30 plus individuals are deployable to anywhere in the world at short notice to operate, maintain, repair, modify and test heavy all-terrain armoured vehicles. Successes included a 100% availability rate during a 7 month ship-borne period, in which there was constant logistical issues, workforce constraints and operating environment concerns. My peers know me as a highly professional operator who works to the highest standards to ensure that my safety critical role is fulfilled, as well as having the integrity to make unpopular decisions when they are required to achieve our aim. I spend a lot of time investigating the root cause of issues, whether technical or administration in order to promote best practise within our organisation. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.I am currently now working in London as a Close Protection Operative for a UHNWI client on a full time basis.
