Responsible for hardware and software integration for the all concept/reference vehicles at QNX.- Collaborated and refined design ideas to include in concept vehicles. These ideas would be showcased to various levels of QNX management in order to obtain executive approval and then proceed with the plan.- Interfacing with vendors and suppliers to oversee on time delivery of third party contributions such as custom built dash inserts, prototype hardware and software deliveries.- Dismantling and reassembly of the vehicles in order to properly fit and size custom screens and equipment.- Wiring the vehicles with digital instrument clusters, embedded boards, lights, cameras, proximity sensors, power supplies, amplifiers and CAN adapters, etc.- Wiring a duplicate bench configuration in order to streamline vehicle development.- Researching and procuring equipment and supplies required in order to outfit the vehicles.- Mentored a Waterloo student during hardware installation and configuration of joint project with several members of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA) to develop future infotainment systems for commercial vehicles.- Travel in North America and Europe, showcasing the concept cars at trade shows and conferences such as CES, MWC, BBWorld & various customer events.

These demonstration units showcased what would become the QNXCAR product. - Refined and optimized Intel x86 fastboot demonstration to start flash demo in less than a second.- Provided demonstrations for trade shows and field application engineers to showcase to potential customers.- Performed integration and system testing of multimedia components.
