I manage all site construction activities and supervise field personnel as required to successfully complete industrial construction projects on schedule and within the budget. Additionally, I oversee site safety, ensure quality & adherence to project documents, and maintain schedules reflecting dynamic site conditions.

I am the liaison between the project manager (Bernards), the subcontractors, the architect, and the client. I assist with the coordination and execution of industrial construction projects.

Responsible for supervising and coordinating the students who work at the University’s Help Desk. This includes training new people, troubleshooting primarily Mac and PC platforms, completing and delegating projects, and leading team meetings on a weekly basis.

Information Technology is currently hosting and managing email (Oracle Messaging) and calendar (Oracle Calendar) services for UC Merced. These systems were originally implemented over seven years ago and in the past couple of years have had difficulty keeping up with the changing needs of the campus both in feature set and population growth. Information Technology has proposed an ad-hoc committee to define the needs of our campus, evaluate current alternatives, and determine the future direction of email, calendaring, and collaboration tools at UC Merced.

My initial training enabled me to work with students, staff, and faculty in the areas of classroom technology, computer labs, and help desk operations. Shifts presented many challenges with a strong emphasis in versatility and multitasking to ensure client satisfaction.

I perform a broad spectrum of construction tasks from permit acquisition to finish carpentry. I have worked on both residential and commercial projects over the years and gained practical skills as well as industry knowledge.
