I wear a few different hats here, but as the assistant winemaker I’m helping to make the wine and working on expanding Zenith’s custom crush portfolio. I’m also helping operations/hospitality to launch their DTC sales programs, tasting room, wine club, e-commerce platform, and more. 93 acres of premium wine grapes, a stunning production facility, and an iconic event space.

-Executes all phases of winemaking for Lady Hill’s entire portfolio of brands and custom crush clients-Cluster sampling, routine laboratory analysis, analysis data documentation, sanitation, cellar operations, quality control, press supervision, and sensory evaluation trials-Creation and maintenance of fermentation, inventory, and compliance documentation -Educates colleagues, clients, and customers on enological practices and production updates-47% increase of total fruit processed for the 2022 vintage vs 2021 resulting in a winery record

-Operations lead and dedicated account manager for all national retail partners in the West, Midwest, and South-Performed routine data updates utilized by multiple teams-Identified opportunities for automation while leveraging tools, integrations, and other technologies to streamline and optimize workflows-Created, maintained, and updated standard operating procedures and various internal/external documentation -Assisted with the development and delivery of training materials to new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles-Analyzed data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improving operational performance and maximizing efficiency
