I led the resourcing and group operations of Crown Resorts' group learning and development function. Working closely with the business, I play a crucial role in diagnosing learning needs based on organisational and business unit priorities and developing, managing, and evaluating an appropriate and accessible group learning and development strategy. The role is responsible for managing Group learning and development function, induction programs and budgets, Group learning management system (LMS), enterprise programs, health and safety training, compliance training framework, employee comms, experience and engagement programs, culture, leadership and talent development, diversity and inclusion programs and reporting.This position was key to establishing and strengthening industry, government, and external partnerships.

I was responsible for ensuring the quality and relevance of group learning and development across the business, which involved managing all aspects of the College itself, including the budget, programs, and the College team and operations. Working closely with our internal and external stakeholders and partners, I diagnose learning needs based on organisational and business unit priorities. Then, I develop, manage, and evaluate appropriate talent, education, and development programs and initiatives.In addition, I am responsible for identifying and developing medium and long-term strategies that will enhance the College’s reputation at Crown, with our training and education partners, and throughout the hospitality and training sectors. Crown College is one of Australia’s largest and most successful Enterprise-based RTOs in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.

I was responsible for ensuring that the research, development, and delivery of training and development activities aligned with Crown’s business needs. I was also responsible for managing all aspects of our RTO status, ensuring that AQTF standards were met and that the business was fully compliant with state and federal regulations and legislation.
