    In this role I led a number of collaborative, multidisciplinary research projects, published peer-reviewed publications, presented at international conferences, managed and maintained the laboratory and mentored postgraduate and undergraduate students. As part of this role, I was a collaborating member and shipboard Scientist on GATEWAYS 2 campaign aboard the R.V. Celtic Explorer. This was a multi-national, multi-disciplinary campaign with the primary objective of mapping and investigating the extent of the British-Irish Ice Sheet, with an additional objective of physical and biogeochemical investigation of shallow gas accumulation in Bantry Bay. I was also involved in an international interdisciplinary field sampling campaign to the Po Valley in the Cottian Alps.
