In a career in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), there are many facets within the discipline that can lead you different directions; programming for GIS web solutions, spatial and statistical analysis, database management, data entry, project management and the list goes on. Working in Municipal GIS since June 2000, I have found my niche, my passion in GIS. Transforming manual GIS desktop processes into automated GIS workflows for business intelligence. Spatial data meshed together with non-spatial data that directly answers a business need in a timely fashion.Experienced with ESRI's stack of products including ArcServer, ArcGIS Online suite of products, GIS desktop software such as ArcPro and ArcMap. System development and administration of Cityworks Asset Management System with a GIS Centric approach to work order activities for both field mobile technologies and office desktop work management processes. A clear understanding and an advocate for data management best practices in keeping a quality Asset Registry. Also immersed in the use of Features Manipulation Engine (FME) software, transforming data to provide meaningful business intelligence and insights using data visualization (cartographic, charting) showing the results on a map, in dashboards or sending alerts. Designing data management systems requires skills such as Project Management Professional Institute standards, Business Process Analysis, GIS analysis, cartographic, database and media technologies. These skills have come over 22 years of experience in the field of Municipal GIS, Certification as a Project Management Professional, and most of all a passion to foster the wise use of spatial data.
Listed skills include Gis, Fme Workbench, Arcgis, Spatial Databases, and 22 others.
