As a graduate of Weber State University with a BS in Marketing, Shane began working in marketing with Weber Credit Union of Utah as the Director of Marketing in 1987. Over a two-year period, he generated marketing campaigns that increased the asset deposits of the credit union by over 7 million dollars. Following the experience in the financial world, Shane pursued an opportunity in the oil industry, as a regional oil broker. From there Shane pursued opportunities that enabled him to manage larger more regionalized sales forces extending west from the Mississippi. Over this six-year period, some of Shane’s’ accomplishments were, increased sales by 1.7 million dollars annually, increased the closing ratio of his salesmen by 43%, exceeded quota consistently prior to second quarter reviews, developed up sale programs netting a 61% for affiliate product closings, while at the same time reducing overhead and travel expenses by 20% throughout all of his territories. Shane began his real estate career in 1995 as a mortgage broker, when he founded Mortgage Brokers Specialist, a Utah mortgage company. As a licensed mortgage broker and owner, Shane managed a team of licensed loan officers and processors who effectively funded hundreds of loans from 1995 to 1999. After leading a successful career in real estate financing, Shane decided to devote his efforts into real estate sales. In 1999, Shane, became a licensed real estate agent and launched what would be a very successful career in the real estate. In 2002, Shane led a team of realtors to achieve the #1 sales team in the North Davis Weber Association of Realtors. In 2003 the team had the Third Highest Sales in the Intermountain West, including Colorado. Then in 2005, he received his broker designation and took over a flailing REMAX franchise with mediocre sales to be the leading franchise of realtors on the Wasatch front. As President and CEO of REMAX Elite, Shane managed the operations of a real state brokerage of more than 75 agents with three separate locations. The sales volume of closed transactions for the franchises accounted for a 26% market share in Weber and Davis County. Today, Shane is still very involved in real estate. He is a Founder, Coach and Mentor for Momentum Training Institute, helping real estate investors learn and grow. Shane is a Real Estate Principal Broker in the State of Utah/Owner of Fusion Realty Group.
