I am looking to build relationships with businesses ranging in size from small "mom & pop" shops to large Fortune 500 companies who are looking to streamline their engineering needs.As VP of Engineering for the Hampton Scott Group, my role is to build relationships and execute strategies for companies seeking to increase their productivity and decreasing their overall engineering costs. I focus primarily on four core areas: communication, simplicity, uniformity and down stream usability.I have worked in both the engineering and manufacturing industries for over a decade. During this time I have worked closely with clients, engineers, designers and machinists. This has afforded me a unique opportunity to observe and aid in reducing design time and cost on everything from space craft to clock radios. I am especially skilled at visualizing down stream headaches and resolving issues before they arise.I understand that engineering, design and manufacturing are more than just data sets, numbers and G-Code. That is why I have worked as a consultant and engineer for companies such as Boeing, Northrop and NASA. It is also the reason why these companies have utilized me as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing groups on several occasions.Hampton Scott Group offers the highest quality engineering related services available. The team can design new parts, model components from legacy data and can reverse engineer existing products. The team works with a variety of CAD packages including: CATIA, Pro/E, Unigraphics, AutoCAD and SolidWorks. They possess the ability and knowledge to use legacy design packages such as Cadam, NCAD, VCAL, Compuvision, etc.It is my goal to help your company implement best practices and uniform procedures in order to produce the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost.
