As COO, I am passionate about helping our members in any area of their business needed. COVID has taught us a valuable lesson in the association industry. Our members are 'Superheroes' and we must all learn to pivot in all areas of business of Ohio Grocers areas including, membership, events, magazines, and all member-related services. OGA also manages four additional associations. MSMA - Mid-States Meat Association, ODFA - Ohio Dairy Foods Association, - YAGA - Youngstown Area Grocers Association and OGF, Ohio Grocers Foundation. I am responsible for all aspects of the association business from eCommerce, marketing, sales, philanthropy to board relations. I strive to encourage and support the OGA staff to live the best work-life balance while reaching their personal goals at OGA and home.

Responsible for all conferences, training, and event coordination. Which includes, marketing, magazine editor and creator, advertising, web development, online reservations programming, applying for all CEU's applicable to conference sessions, and all onsite management of the event. Work with President, Vice-President, Government Relations Director & conference committee to ensure the events and training meets association members needs. Monitor as well as responsible for overall budget of all conferences and events.

As the director, I was responsible for event planning for two associations (OPMCA & OPCA) that included: annual meetings, board meetings, expos, golf outings, PAC events, legislative receptions and educational webinars. Additional Event Management duties included the M-PACT Tradeshow held in Indianapolis, Indiana for the petroleum and convenience store industry. I coordinated all attendee registration, promotional materials and educational sessions including the keynote speaker. I also developed the Wordpress website, eMarketing materials which includes eBlast (Constant Contact), Association eNews email communications and eShow eMarketing emails. I coordinated all onsite registration desk tasks that included the registration processing for 4000+ attendees/exhibitors as well as all staff training for registration desk operations. I introduced a new M-PACT mobile application during the 2014 show and enhanced social media. One of the most fulfilling responsibilities I had was mentoring college interns in event management, hospitality, graphics, photography and marketing students from Columbus area colleges.

As the coordinator, I was a part of Scioto Reserve Country Clubs’ strong, professional leadership team and dedicated employees managing internal and external marketing efforts. This position utilized many of my skills including team based marketing, project management, goal setting and administrative support. I have the ability to work well under pressure, and exhibit skills to increase the membership sales revenue. I planned all golf outings, membership events, and weddings. This was a demanding, fast pace role that included a mix of administrative tasks, project coordination and creative work.

As the director, I was responsible for the onsite staff and operations of all corporate accounts of Mosler Inc. I oversaw the organization of the corporate office, the development and maintenance of company business practices, policies and procedures. I was the liaison between Mosler Inc. and the contracted travel company. I worked closely with the CEO and the V.P. of Human Resources to develop and set up new corporate policies. I also negotiated all air, car and hotel contracts nationally. I trained and supervised employees while using the Sabre airline registration system.
