GoFormz's first engineering outside hire. I was brought on to develop many of the company's new software initiatives.• Lead development for the interactive Template Designer. Consisted of a heavy javascript front-end that utilizes React, Redux, Babel, & Webpack.• Developed and maintained the GoFormz Android Application using the Xamarin Platform (C#).• Designed, implemented, and documented the initial version of the GoFormz Api v2. Granicus was my first software engineering job after college. Although I was initially brought on as a Junior Developer, I quickly became the team lead and responsible for many of the companies critical applications. • Lead a small team to refactor the existing back-end into a service oriented architecture.• Introduced Backbone.js into the existing PHP front end to improve scheduling and managing events.• Created and maintained LiveManager a WPF desktop application. LiveManager allows city council clerks to conduct, record and track city council meetings.• Created and maintained VoteCast. VoteCast enabled many city council members to track the state of the meeting and cast votes.• Created and maintained VoteCast Display. VoteCast Display enabled the city council audience to view the state of the meeting.• Created and maintained Meeting Server a WCF windows service. This service managed the audio/video encoding and current state of the meeting.• Developed two custom web media players to play live and on-demand city council meetings. The first used Silverlight to stream windows media content. The second utilized Flash to stream H.264 content.• Developed and maintained a custom Microsoft Word add-in. The add-in enabled users to create templates for their published minutes documents.• Improved the system's media infrastructure to encode, transcode, and stream WMV and H.264 content.
